This is a SUPER simple way to make your kids cupcakes a SUPER HIT!! Nothing like making your kids feel super special for the little details!
HOW TO MAKE MINION CUPCAKES
Items you will need:
- Cupcakes (homemade or from a cake box)
- White Frosting
- Blue Food Coloring
- Black Icing
- White Smarties (or the pre-made candy eyes)
- Twinkies
- Wilton Chocolate sprinkles
Bake the cupcakes. Best is to use BLUE cupcake papers to match the denim for the minions. (I didn’t have blue paper).
Put the Twinkies in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes to stiffen them. Slice them in half.
Use the Black Icing to “dot” where the eyes will go and place WHITE Smarties on the dot to stick them.
Draw a black line from the eyes around the side for the goggle strap using the Black Icing.
Use Chocolate Sprinkles to create the hair.
Frost the cupcakes with your Blue icing, and place each Minion on top.
