Do you know what it takes to get it? If you want “it”, then you’ll have to be ok with the costs to get “it”.
What it takes to get it?
- If you want six-pack abs & a tight body —> Then you have to want being prepared with healthy, measured, planned, and perfectly matched food. You’ll have to want super sweaty and intense workouts that leave you sore and working out 5-6 days per week. You’ll have to want willpower, commitment, and restriction under some social situations and temptations.
- If you want to be successful in business —> Then you will have to want fitting in extra work above and beyond what you are currently doing. Early Mornings/Late nights, working lunch hours, and saying no to some social requests. You’ll have to learn to be ok with no, not interested, and it’s not right for me. You’ll have to be ok with openly sharing that you have a business and want people to be a part. You’ll have to be ok with learning as you go and failing multiple times throughout the process.
- If you want to have healthy relationships —> Then you have to want to work on yourself – bettering your mind and body through personal development books, audios, a spiritual relationship with God, eating healthy, and working out, so that you love yourself, feel confident, and happy. You have to want to be be helpful to others and to change your social mannerisms to being very positive and outwardly generous.
If you find yourself wanting something month after month, year after year, but you never find yourself getting any closer to it, then maybe what you actually want is just an idealization, a fantasy, and a false promise.
Maybe you don’t actually want it at all, because you’re not willing to get uncomfortable through the work it’s going to take to achieve it.
